Buffs & Black Orp pics!

This was my last hatch of the year for Orps and I'm not kidding!...lol...They are from BamaChicken (Julie).....Fast little buggers had a hard time having them stand still....Total was 5 Buffs and 3 Blacks to hatch....

Yes I now have some, they seem to be on a hatch
rate that goes something like this...

OK I m going to pip, no I want to pip, ok you pip, I m going
to hatch, no I want to hatch ok you hatch MY turn im not waiting
to pip or zip I'm just going to explode on the scene!!

What a day..they seem to have taught eachother how to play
pinball with there fellow bator mates. It is a wonder any of
them hatch.

LOL...Nope, I will not hatch another egg this summer.......I've been going secretly to hatching egg AAA meetings......I will recover for the summer, fall and maybe (yup) winter season

What prettie little fat things. I am not hatching anymore until the fall except whatever the broodies do. I usually let them hatch to get them off the nest and back to laying.

I'm done till fall too when the eggs in the bator are done......a whole month later than what I originally said!! Probably a good thing it's getting to hot to ship!!

I'm working on my last hatch for a while too (I think). I'm out of room, and want to grow out what I have and then pick through them.



Bamachicken~ Do you have blacks seperate from your blues, or all together? If you have seperate blacks, do you have eggs to sell?

I am diggin' a deep hole and the brooders keep fillin' up. Serious trouble here, I tell ya.

The culling will soon begin..I smell relief on the horizon.
