My chicks are almost 2 weeks old at this time, and I was wondering if I could feed them bugs?

I raise multiple species of exotic feeder roaches, and a few others.

Would the chicks need grit to properly ingest bugs?

Should I just wait?

Heck yeah, throw a couple in there for em. Cricket tag!
Yeah, give em a little grit to wash em down with.

Yeah. I do order from flucker farms sometimes... I buy age appropriate sized crickets for the little ones... and I get big old crickets for the big birds and mealworms. Now, you want to talk fun!?! Watch chickens see you with the container of bugs! It will only take once to have them trained.

Ha!
Imma do a video right now, you guys gonna be up for a while?

EDIT
10 mins later . . .
That was FUN!!!

Stay tuned, vid about to be processed, be back as soon as possible

LOL! That was great! They loved it! I knew they would... I love how they just jump on it. Their instincts kick in and they are all over anything little like that that moves. I'm glad to see they had a good time.

Its pretty hilarious, I cant wait to see them with more room to give chase . . .

I got bigger bugs too, for when the chickens are bigger . . .

I hope they dont get all plugged up tho, Ill bring home some sand tomoro for them.

Check out some of my frog videos!
