[Gracie_Chickie]

Our chicks are 1 week and 2 weeks old. We have been giving them crickets and grasshoppers for treats. When we give them one it is so cute and funny they chase eachother around for it, ripping it limb for limb(lol) Sometimes afraid they will hurt eachother when taking it from one anothers beak. I also wondered if the bugs can hurt their tummies or mess up their digestion in any way. So the main question is it safe?

Bugs are OK as long as you don't feed them too many and you provde some grit to help digest them.

The chicks main feed should be the chick starter because it contains the nutrients they need for their little growing bodies.
