it has now occurred to me how smart chickens can be.I recently had to Seperate my rooster because he was mating with our ducks.I have a fairly large dog cage I put him in.Everytime my Cochin rooster and him are between wire the Cochin gets some courage and fights, and is full aware he has an advantage because the other rooster pretty much can’t touch him.The Cochin bantam constantly taunts him,and it’s almost funny.I have chicken wire around the cage except for the cage,so the bigger holes on the door are not covered up.The Cochin knows to stay away from those holes because he knows he can get touched, where as he will square off throug he chicken wire. But,once I let he bigger guy out,he goes flying away
