Build your own walk through door?

Has anyone built a human walk through door to their coop. I’d rather do a little less height than is required for standard 82” prehung doors.

Do you have your coop started?
I don't know what size mine is, but the Hubby just framed out a door opening and made the door with wood - is that what you are asking?

This helps thank you. Wanted something strong enough but also not a regular exterior door that would be required for a home.

I used wood from an old cedar cabinet that we took apart, and I have a neighbor who helped me make the door. I used 1/4' hardware mesh for the "screening". I'm in the puget sound area, which never gets that cold, but if it gets really windy I will cover most of the mesh with plastic, leaving some open for airflow.

I just made the door for our run, it has wire, but if your not looking to have it be open I’m sure your could just plank the inside instead. Here’s the link to the article I used to make it!
