I'll start by saying, I'm notorious for biting off more than I can chew. :) so, my husband grew up with a backyard flock but other than that we are complete newbies. We currently have 20 eggs in the incubator and are building a coop from a kit that just gives you the hardware and you buy the lumber. And my husband is not a builder...yet. Oh, did I mention we have a toddler? Right. So here it goes, we are open to critiquing. :)

I think starting with a shed kit is a great idea!

Hope you're able to see it thru to completion!

My 2 cents..

To save some time later, go ahead and paint the inside panels before you put them together. Use a nice glossy paint and it will keep things fresh and make for easy cleaning.
