Building a run around a big tree? Has anyone done this?

My run is going to be built with a big tree in the middle of it. It HAS to be covered due to Hawks and owls, not to mention the 4 legged predators.

Has anyone done something like this, and if so, would you be willing to share pics?

Trying to figure out how to encircle the trunk with HW cloth, without damaging the tree.

The tree is about 30-40' tall.

Excuse the mess, the last owner used this area as a trash pit.

I've seen it done a few times.....try this search.

You'll have to wade thru a lot of thread and try some other search terms, but that'll get you started.
