building an incubator

Hello fellow byc peeps! I am new to chicken raising and was wondering if any of you have made and tried any of the incubators listed on this forum. I was thinking about this one (https://www.backyardchickens.com/a/als-homemade-cabinet-incubator) and was hoping for some feed back on it from anyone who has made and used it. Thanks so much.

I've done a home made cardboard box incubator, on the crude and makeshift side, one time use, but very effective. I got 17 chicks from 18 eggs. The cabinet incubator that you linked to is very nice but too much work for me since I won't hatch again for another year or two.
