I have a basic building plan but would love some tips and ideas from all of you experienced chicken keepers

basically it's going to look like a miniature house attached to a 20 foot or so run. it will be a foot or two off of the ground. my dad is good at building things like this and is going to help me so the main coop should be no problem. my question is how do you guys have the inside of your coops set up? what is the best way to make the floor so it is easy to clean and is comfortable for the chickens? any tips and pics will be greatly appreciated!

Three main things come to mind...1. make sure it is predator proof, keep in mind hawks etc.. from above, and animals that will try to dig under the run. 2. make sure you have plenty of ventilation (try to locate vents above roosting areas to avoid drafts). 3. locate the roosts so that they are at the highest point over other structures (chickens by, by instinct will go to the highest point posssible). I can elaborate on these topics later, I will try to get some pics that may be helpful...
