I was going to pay someone to do this but I'm sure he would charge me a lot of money and also he says he's coming and never shows so I've decided to do it myself.
I bought a framing nailer, a concrete gun, a level and the wood I bought yesterday. It seems easy enough, but I don't even know how to use the level. Actually Amazon is delivering that today. I learned to use my miter saw yesterday. Which that thing scared me at first!

My plan: I am attaching a 2x4 to the joists above which run perpendicular, then building my wall on the floor before attaching it to the 2x4, the concrete floor and to the big 4x4 post on the side. I'm more worried about knowing how to make it plumb, at this point. I have to make two of these to span 16 feet.

After I make these then I have other issues to deal with.

Thanks!

Use one of your 2x4s for a straight edge, long enough to go from your concrete floor to your joist. Layout on the concrete where you want your walls and using your level on the 2x4 straight edge, transfer those marks up to the joist. You tube is your best friend, how to use a level or anything you want to do can be found there. Google how to use a level you tube, or how to ( fill in whatever you want to see) you tube and someone will have posted a video about it.

I suggest that you buy a few books on DIY projects to teach you to use tools safely and build things that will hold up securely.

We've found this series useful and reliable: https://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Gui.../ref=sr_1_1?dchild=1&keywords=DIY+book&sr=8-1

This one is specifically about barns, sheds, etc: https://www.amazon.com/Ultimate-Gui...sr_1_2?dchild=1&keywords=DIY+book+shed&sr=8-2

Tool safety is CRITICAL. Be careful. :)
In the past, I've used a jig saw...for everything. The miter saw looks so easy on Youtube but when you turn it on, the power of it pulling back was more than I expected. Thanks, I may already have a book but most of my stuff is still in boxes from moving.

Thanks! I've watched a few videos on youtube on levels, but I couldn't figure out how to get the level to work on the joists and the bad thing is I'm trying to get this done before the weather turns cold.

Edited to add:
I was thinking I had to put the top board up first and level it, but it makes sense to layout bottom board first and use that to mark the joist board.
