All lumber so far has been sourced from pallets of one kind or another. Got the aft and starboard walls all framed up. Getting ready to frame up the nesting boxes.

For some reason I want to yell out “Honey, where’s my Super Coop?” (like Frozone in The Incredibles)

Hope it turns out great, I love pallet wood projects! Dunno how you’re disassembling them but those pallet buster tools work pretty good. Good luck!
Ancient hand me down Milwaukee sawzall that’s so old it came in a metal carrying case. You know, from before batteries were a thing. Damned things as heavy as an elephant and rocks the old bones like a Viking rowboat on the high seas. But she gets the job done. Just got to take a two day break to recover each time I use it lol.

Coop is coming along slowly. school work funerals (yes plural) and christmas bonding time have all sucked time away from me of late. I’m not complaining. Is what it is. I’ve also been trying to navigate tool issues, supply shortages, etc as well as several failures regarding my first two attempts at constructing the nesting boxes. I’m on my third attempt at constructing the nesting boxes and I finally have a working prototype this one needs some refinement, but I now know how I’m going to construct them and I have an idea how they will be attached. I also got a few more pallets deconstructed and some more work done on the framing of the wall that will hold the nesting boxes.

Well I got the issues ironed best they’re going to get. Starting to panel up the walls with some osb I purchased second hand that was new, but left over from a construction job and headed for the fill. Just spent $67 on 10 pounds of screws… can’t believe how expensive stuff is getting.
