Building our 1st coop!!! Yay!

I m just so excited!!! We finally agreed to build our own coop and run! We have 2 beautiful leghorns and we were sprinkled with chicken math magic. We are looking for 2 new gals for Oct.♡. The leg horns live in a nice prefab coop and extended run. It s ok- for 2, with supervised free range time.
With new girls coming we need more space! The coop/run space is a 10×6 shady space. We will be utilizing the Garden Coop Plans. I m so excited to create our own idea of chicken heaven I m just jumping for joy and wanted to share with some other crazy chicken people who would understand! Here s a picture of our "blank canvas". Can't wait to share the completed project! But now I m off to read the 2000+ pieces of advice for building a coop on byc.

I just finished that adventure. It's very tough to come with one coop/run idea that you like best that fits your budget and it also predator proof. I researched for a month before finally deciding on our plans and there are things I'd do different now that it is done.
It's still fun and rewarding though. My chickens sure love their coop and run!
