Bulge under hen’s bum

My neighbor’s hen has developed this large bulge. She is not eating. Any ideas of what it is and how to fix it?? Photos aren’t great but it is quite large and round.

It is hard to see anything. Is this a silkie? If she is swollen under her vent, that could be water belly, salpingitis and internal laying of lash eggs, or cancer.

Does it feel hard/firm or soft and squishy? Does she lay eggs normally? A better view of the bulge might be helpful.
