4 week old Cream Legbar. One bulging eye. Have used saline to wash out thinking she had some sawdust stuck in her eye but it has gotten progressively worse whilst we were away for a wedding on the weekend. Any ideas of how to treat. She is still eating and gaining weight. As you can see from the photos her other eye is fine. Poor thing
Looks like the eye may have pus in it.
General care is the flush with saline, push or press out all the pus or debris, then apply Terramycin Eye ointment in the eye. Continue with ointment/flushing at least 2x a day until the eye is healed.

I bet the eye feels better already. It may take a few days working on it to get all the pus out, just keep the eye flushed and ointment in the eye, hopefully it will heal up quickly.
