One of my 5 three year old hens was being severely bullied and isolated. There are let out and roam our large fenced in yard with lots of places to hide. They return to coop at dark and we lock them in until the next morning. The first night we couldn’t find her in the coop or in yard. She came out from under our deck the next morning and the others started after her when I let them out. We tried to clean the black off her head and kept her in a rabbit hutch nearby. The next day or so we notice our largest hen, a Rhode Island Blue has the same yucky black on her head, but none of the hens were bothering her at all. Are these pecking injuries or some kind of infection/fungus. I guess we may need to isolate the 2nd one, but I’d really like to know what is going one and what I can do to help.
What is going on with my girls?!?

I don’t think it’s fencing…I checked and we don’t have anything not secure around the coop.
