Bullied Silkie!!! *Suggestions?*

Hi all...

So my totally sweet silkie hen is being bullied by my barred rock. But I have noticed that the other birds chime in as well. Right now I have my silkie seperated into a different area so that if she wants to get away she can, but I feel like she is really alone. I have heard about taking the bully out of the picture for a while, but I was wondering if doing that and getting another silkie as well will help to ease the trouble. My coop has room for an additional bantam, is this a good idea?

Yes.remove the bully for a couple of days,this should change the dynamics of the pecking order. If you decide to purchase another silkie,remember the quarantine rule,quarantine for at least 4 weeks(i do at least 2 months)to rule out any medical issues contaminating your flock.
