I have a BR that I believe is being bullied by some of the others....I can't figure out which one is doing it right now. She hangs out by herself most of the day and is always the last one in the coop at night. Once I figure out who it is how do I deal with that particular bird? I read somewhere on here to isolate the aggressor in a separate crate or something to reset the order? TIA

Are you positive she isn't sick?
It's very common for them to start picking on a bird that's sick.
She looks perfectly fine....I was watching today and it looks to be one of the RIR's that is the aggressor. The BR was just minding her business and that bird just went over and pecked her for no reason.

It tends to be only in the afternoon because all morning they all hang out together doing their thing, then a couple of hours before they go to roost the bullying starts. Any ideas?

There will always be a 'low bird' in the flock.
As long as there's no blood flying or pinning down and beating unmercilessly,
there's not a whole lot you can so about it.

Thanks! It's kinda sad but I get it. Such is life in the chicken world....
