I have just combined my new flock with the old flock. They visualized each other through wire for 1 month. The rooster and 4 hens are fine, but I have a Wyandotte hen the chases, attacks and pecks the new kids. They are terrified to see her. I had to pull her off a hen the other day. She was pinned down in a corner with Lucy biting and pecking her. The coop is huge, with a 70 foot run, so plenty of room to escape the wrath of Lucy! My rooster does nothing to keep the peace in the harem! What to do?

It sounds like the new ones are still immature. To have a hen act like that isn't what I'd call normal but it's not that unusual. My first try would be what Sour said, isolate her. When one gets caught and is penned down with the other pecking at her head it is very dangerous.

While my roosters may occasionally help take care of young chicks, they tend to leave adolescents alone. If cockerels are fighting each other, doesn't bother him. If the cockerels are chasing and mating pullets, not his problem. If they bother his hens, it is his problem. A broody disciplining her chicks isn't his concern. A fight between grown hens usually does get his attention, they are part of his harem. If those are immature pullets they are not yet part of his harem.

Whether they are immature or not, I'd still suggest the same thing, isolate her for a while.
