Hey everyone. We have 13 red sexlinks all are healthy and thriving but 1. It seems she is being picked on by some or 1 or all. Not sure. A couple days ago I noticed that a good chuck of tail feathers were missing and her skin was very red and swollen. Don't judge lol but I put canesten on it and she immediately stopped trying to escape arms.
The rest of the flock have full feathers. All except my.poor little girl.
Any pointers. This is our 1st yr and 1st winter with hens.

Is this new behavior? Is she or anyone else in the flock new to the flock? Does she appear to have any other health problems outside of being bullied? Is there any visible blood on her?

She may need to be separated. The thing is, if she is separated, she might have more troubles once she returns. Something that might be a better option is Pinless Peepers. You can put them on all the chickens except for the bullied one. (Don't leave them on longer than two weeks!) Hopefully by the time the Pinless Peepers are off, the flock will have broken their habit of bullying your hen. :)

Any pointers. This is our 1st yr and 1st winter with hens.
How old are these birds, in weeks or months?

How big is your coop and run, in feet by feet?
Dimensions and pics(inside and out) would help immensely here.

What all and how exactly are you feeding?
