On Tuesday, we had to put our pet rooster down. We have two hens. Before he died, the rooster was pretty good "friends" with our small Polish Bantam. Those two got along well with our 1-year old Easter Egger. Since our rooster has been put down, the Easter Egger is bullying the little Bantam, who happens to be about three months older than the Easter Egger. She jumps on her and pecks at her while she's on top of her. It's very hard to watch. What can we do? Our Easter Egger and our Polish Bantam are very affectionate towards us, the humans, so we don't want to ruin that relationship. However, the Easter Egger is acting much too aggressive towards the Bantam to not warrant some form of discipline. help!

maybe put the bantam in another cage. My bantams and standards live separately! And when chickens fight, maybe put a smaller cage inside of a bigger cage, or fence in one of the birds and let the other free range!

Hmmmm...we only have one Bantam left after the whole Marek's situation. Would she be depressed if she were all by herself?

It's crazy because when the little Bantam rooster was alive, the two hens got along perfectly.
