Ok- this is a weird one- my head hen has decided that when the roo is finished romancing the girls she can go in and attack them, pecking thier head and making things miserable- i finally removed one hen that got a bloody comb- so what i have heard is to remove the bully for awhile and then reintroduce her so she is humbled a bit- so how long does she need to removed, and what causes this kind of behavior? i have them in a large run, and they usually get to roam during parts of the day

It sounds like you have a mean hen trying to establish the pecking order. Sometimes ours do that too- when they see another hen in a more vulnerable position, they take advantage of them.
