I created a system similar to a french drain..this is just a suggestion..remove pavers and dig down toward centwr of their pond and then out a lil ways.( you could run it out pen but that would require more work to be sure nothing can get in) ...then at that spot dig a hole to drop And bury a 5gallon bucket..you must drill holes in bittom and up sides 6 to 8 in..first..fill all of it in with gravel..then lay pallets around area over gravel instead of pavers. Easy to hose poo off pallets and even replace as their are free alot of places..this will allow water to drain keeping it at least from becoming a bog. Scrub with dawn and rinse monthly..Keeping it dry is going to be a problem. They have a pool in the run and they spread water all over. It gets hot here and they need it to stay cool. What would be a good ground cover for in the run around a pool area?
I use more wood chip instead of gravel, but mine are not contained in an enclosure..and i can remove it and carry it to gardens where it continues to break down..
