Well, after a year and a half with no chicken emergencies, one of the girls developed bumble foot. Ruth, your excellent picture tutorial, gave me the confidence I needed to do the surgery. It was way easier than I expected! She is looking good. Still not using the foot properly, but it is has only been a day.
