I have a meat bird cornish x I noticed laying around this morning. The foot is slightly swollen and I am hopeful to be butchering soon. Should I not eat this bird? I will soak it this afternoon after work? I read about cutting but dont remember seeing an actual head or spot near the swelling. Any input on this so close to processing time , safe to eat or? Thanks
