Sigh. I managed to catch an early case of bumblefoot in one of my ducks at the early stages and managed to cure it with Epsom salt soaks and iodine. I was convinced it was 99% cured and was pretty pleased with the results as the thought of performing "surgery" wasn't appealing and out vet is pretty useless.

I have given our ducks a quick inspection health check as we are due to go on holiday and my parents will be looking after the duckies and I've found that the other two ducks now have the early signs of bumble foot, I will have to wait till I return before I treat them. My question is, is bumblefoot contagious? Could the one duck who had it originally spread it to the other two ducks?
They have a plush grass garden with a pond with paving stones around the edges, flower beds with soil and dirt to free range in. We don't have any gravel or anything underfoot which I believe they can cut their feet on. Looking for any advice as to how I can prevent this in the future.

As far as I'm aware it's an infection of a wound on the foot; so I would doubt that they can pass between themselves.
My larger ducks (Campbells) have had bumblefoot because of some slabbed steps with a 4 inch drop between each - the big birds would slip down the from the edge of one onto the lower one; in doing so they were abrading the soles of their feet..

Have a good look round as sometimes the most innocent looking of features could be causing it.

It is not exactly contagious, but there can be multiple outbreaks if the conditions are right for it.

I don't read anything suspicious in your post about their environment.

Are they on any wire mesh at any time, like under their water dish, or are there any brambles? Concrete?

Is the area around their water muddy? Has the weather become rather warm?
