I would like some advice on Bumblefoot.
I have a rooster that has scabs/bumblefoot on both his feet, middle toe(s) is also swollen.
I have soaked him in Epsom salt for 20 minutes, remove the scabs and have attempted to remove all the kernels.
I have watched YouTube videos, comparing what I did to how they have done it. I have much more bleeding than it appears on the YouTube videos. And it doesn’t seem like I see the pus, kernels, cottage cheese, etc like they talk about.
Now they have him taped up, what do I do next?
Should I soak him daily and attempt to get it cleaned out or should I just keep him taped up and let it heal for a couple days.
My past experiences it seems like it just re-scabs and never heals.
I also have him on amoxicillin and meloxicam
Thanks for you help and suggestions.
