hello fellow chicken lovers!

I present to you Saucy. S/He is a straight run bantam turken from Wilco. About 3 weeks old.

Lately I’ve noticed this bump on the back of Saucy’s head. Everyone else is fine. Just Saucy. Doesn’t seem to itch and saucy doesn’t seem to pick at it or anything.

Anyone seen anything like this? Eating, pooping, and sleeping just fine.

It is possible that one of the others is pecking her skin. Are they under a heat lamp, and is the color red or clear? How much room do they have? They may be overcrowded, bored, or too warm. Sometimes a red light can be more calming. You could try some Bag Balm, Vicks, or PickNoMore on the spot, or get some Nustock cream from your feed store or online.

There are 3 of them in one of those 103 gallon stock tank things. Red light in there. I have some pick no more stuff I can put on there and see if that helps. Someone else said it could be a burn from
The heat lamp. Just hoping it’s not serious ya know? Thanks for replying!
