Their mom suffered mastitis and they had to be pulled. We are feeding them pellets dissolved in goat milk. I built a pen on the floor for them but they kept escaping. Then I realized while a bird cage sounds small my cages are 30"x18" and many people (not me) keep adult small breed rabbits in cages around that size. So we have 3 little bunnies in a bird cage.

They are moving to a stock tank in the basement probably this weekend after I'm sure they are eating solid food and can handle the slightly cooler temps with no nest.

The solid black and the spotted one are pedigreed mini rex. The brown agouti is a foster from a creme d'argent x new zealand meat rabbit doe who had 10.

They are precious! How old are they? Looks as if they are ready to be eating and drinking well on their own..................I never had a baby rabbit though, only adults.

I love the fur of a rex, I have some standard ones and they're soooo soft, especially as babies

Gosh, wish I could get my hands on a creme d'argent, lol. I've been crossing my rex with new zealands, turns out they have huge babies mixed.. at least mine do lol

They are 3 1/2 weeks now so we had to pull them about a week earlier than they would have started to wean. They are eating fairly well though. They still won't touch whole pellets but they eat soaked pellets and hay leaves.
