I had on ly one button hatch out(incubator).will the parents kill it if I put it in with them?

I would just hand rear it. The parents might kill it. But, on the other hand they might take care of it! I would put it in there and just see how they act, and if thy act agressive then I would take it out and hand rear it myself. Dunno if if that helped or not! Mrs. Fluffy Puffy

I am not really worried about hens they tend to be ok, but the male might snap at the little one. They can get very agressive, if he thinks its an intruder. I had to take my male out for a week or so.
I also had some chicks the parents hatched and some I hatched out myself.
I would at least keep the little guy in the brooder untill his body feathers out so he can keep warm himself. Then pop him in with the others. Thats what I did today. Oh boy I have a busy little aviary now. I am going to have to sell some as soon as I can sex them. I also have 10 more in the incubator and the hens are laying again.
He or she would be dependant on you, and look to you as its parent. I would give it a small stuffed toy in there for company and give it attention as much as you can.

I would not put it in with adults they will more then likely kill it

No I would not put him in with the larger birds they are ok with their own but an incubated chick is going to be killed It is hard enough to put adult birds together when they haven't been a group.

I have one male that I give all baby chicks to. He is a really daddy figure, and will puff up so they can get in his feathers, lay down with them, teach them to eat and drink, and is just an overall good bird. However, I would not attempt it with any of my other adults.
Also, mine are coturnix, not buttons.

Buttons try to make up for their small size with real meaness putting a chick with an adult that did not hatch it is a VERY BAD plan. There are times the hen that hatched the chicks will even go after her own chicks. I don't think I would try doing it with any type of quail I can't stress this enough

See told ya. Anyways order some more eggs or incubate more of your own. At the moment that little one is yours.

I introduced 13 older chicks to my aviary. There are two younger ones. I mean less than one week old came and joined them in there little hidie places (basket tubes) I checked and the older chicks accepted them in and kept them warm. So I have quite a mix there. Also the young ones I incubated did let other chicks in their little whole, but didn't accept the adult male or the other female into it. They slept just outside. I was affraid before because I tried to introduce one older chick at a time. But when I had 13, I guess it was overwelming they had too. It worked. Poor little one chick of yours. Thats why I would keep it and raise it yourself untill its almost an adult.
