Button Quail Chicks

Either way it works best for you is fine, I know they dont always hatch the way you want them to lol my silkies prooved that one for me last year.

Alright! My female button hasen't been laying on a schedule so i'm going to hatch more than one batch. I only got 4 eggs this past week and I got 6 the week before! I'll put in the first batch sometime next week (depends on when she lays an egg this week) and after they hatch i'll put in another batch and so on until I have enough chicks. You can choose the age you want that way, too.

HI: I have been wanting to start a button quail project in 4-H. This would be a perfect start for me. I already have poultry and Turkeys and am a good flock tender.Where are you located or would you ship them?Thank You Lisa

Sorry for not replying guys. I actually hit a major flaw in my plan. Spring break. My family wants to go on vacation that week and I would have no one to care for the chicks. I asked the person I am getting the eggs from if they could postpone my order until after spring break so I will let you know about the change of plans. I am really sorry I overlooked that before. I'll look for other shows after spring break that I can deliver to and post the dates.

TarheelBirdy my button has been laying shell less eggs from the stress of moving but she is starting to get a little soft shell on her eggs so if you want shen she starts laying well I can sell you some eggs. It wouldnt be many since I only have one pair but it would be good for a start.
