Hello from Chicago, I am a noobling starting off with quails to see if i enjoy it enough to get chickens. After 4 months of raising babies then hatching my own I'm pretty sure I'm ready for some Chickens/ducks. Heres a little show and tell of my experience with the quails.

I got 6 button quails back in May. These grew up and have laid a few eggs themselves.
On Friday, after incubating in my homemade incubator and hand turning 22 eggs for 2 weeks 20 hatched!
And the day before that I finished my adult cage for my yard!
The babies should grow rapidly and will be ready for the outdoors in no time.
