Button quails.getting them to lay eggs

They are deff 5 weeks old . I have 4. The only feed I've been able to find is a flock food for turkey ,chicken , bigger birds and i leave the light on at night for warmth inside their coop. During the day they have an aviary 8x8 so that have a lot of run to run. Should i start them on the oysters shells already?

I've never raised quail either but they sure are cute little things. In addition to the quail forum, there are some articles about raising quail in the Learning Center, you might check them out to see if they answer your question.

Sorry, I too have no experience with quail but just wanted to say that I hope you enjoy BYC. There are lots of friendly and very helpful folks here so not only is it overflowing with useful information it is also a great place to make friends and have some fun.
