Please PM me with your questions and/or orders.

Up for your consideration are 12 (+ if available) Marraduna Basque Euskal Oiloa hatching eggs. Spring is here for us and our birds have ramped up laying production. All of our breeders are out of Skyline and GreenFire. Our second generation Skylines birds are in production (they are fertile as we have hatched out babies making our 3rd generation). We have also an unrelated GreenFire line (they are also fertile and in production and we have hatched out babies making our #2 line's 2nd generation). Our breeding birds are housed by breed and let out to free range at separate times to avoid any cross breeding. We feed quality 20% feed milled locally, oyster shell, and select garden treats. We have confirmed fertility (and an awesome hatch rate) with a test hatch each month for the past 7 months! I have hatched 100+; grown out 30+ Marraduna Basque Euskal Oiloak. I'm turning off my icubators for the season and offering these eggs to others interested in the breed. I have been selecting mainly for type and temperament. We believe in building the "Barn" first and painting it later. That being said, we are choosing for large birds with the correct body type, tail and wing set (as per the Spanish standard). Single red combs & red ear-lobes. Cockerels that develop side springs, a bad attitude, or solid white or solid black feathers in the tail are culled. Pullets with attitude go lay eating eggs for a living on another farm. We love broodies! We love curious, smart chickens that know how to free range effectively and safely. We are slowly working on color and have many, many yellow legged EO running about, but they are a work in progress and leg/feather color hasn't been my primary focus. They are an all around wonderful chicken to have and I'd like to see many more folks raising these great birds. All eggs collected for this sale are creamy colored / light brown/ cherry brown eggs, with an average weight of 62g. I do not wash hatching eggs. I will NOT send any eggs that are overly soiled. Payment will be via PayPal only. No E-Checks. Please pay immediately so that your eggs can be shipped on Monday, Tuesday, or Wednesday depending on when payment is received. Hatching eggs are time sensitive, delayed payment will delay shipment, which will effect your hatch rate (I can't stress this point enough folks). Please read and understand our egg shipping policy before buying. Although we DO practice bio-security, we also offer free pick-up at our farm. Just ask. Happy to accommodate those that can make the drive out to see us!

Our egg shipping policy is as follows.
Rough postal handling and incubator mishaps will make perfectly fertile eggs NOT develop or hatch. Purchasing shipped eggs is a risk. Please be understanding and know this when purchasing hatching eggs. DUE TO THE NATURE AND VARIABLES, ALL SALES ARE FINAL! The incubation equipment and techniques vary among customers. We recommend using an incubator that automatically turns the eggs. I have plenty of experience packing and shipping hatching eggs as well as live birds. They should arrive to your shipping address in good order. Please leave feedback based when the eggs arrive, the quality and condition of the shipment; not your hatch rate (as there are too many factors out of my control to be held responsible). Shipping and handling cost for 12+ eggs, to the lower 48 states, is a flat rate of $15.00. We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, Virginia or Minnesota. We do not ship internationally. The eggs gathered will be stored with the air cell pointed up, and turned in an auto turner until packaged and shipped. It is our goal that the eggs you receive be no more than 5 days old when you receive them. At Cracker Hill Mercantile, we value our customers, want them to be satisfied and hope they will recommend us to others. Our flock is Pullorum/Typhoid/AI tested and clean. NPIP # 58-1668-E. Thanks for reading and Happy Hatching!
