Buy or hatch?

Should I hatch pekin ducks or order ducklings from metzer farms? I have never incubated eggs before.

Depends on what you want. Shipped eggs from them aren't much cheaper and aren't guaranteed to hatch.

If you want a new experience and to learn about the formation of the ducks, I would suggest eggs.

If you want to be more guaranteed that you will get the amount you want, then I would suggest buying the ducklings. There is a very high chance that not all of them will hatch. You may buy 12 eggs but end up with 6 ducklings.
