Buying a used chicken coop

Is there any issue with buying a used chicken coop? Our family friend just bought a home which has one but we don't know any of the history on it.

Even if there were diseased chickens in it, if it's been unused for a year or so, it's probably safe. You could always spray it with a disinfectant. Oxine is probably the best -- but don't use the citric acid activator around birds.

With a good cleaning it should be alright. What kind of shape is it in? Clean, really dirty and run down?
