Buying chickens from the National Western Stock Show?

I was wondering........ I plan to buy a couple hens to add to my flock from the NWSS in Denver. My question is, since I've only ever bought from hatcheries before, will the birds that are being sold there be show quality, or will they just be the "rejects" of others flocks?
