BYC chat...How many people actually use it?

I like the BYC chat - its easy to use and its a real time way to chat with people and you don't have to worry about it being the right forum - etc...Anyway - I am just wondering because usually there isn't but 3 - 5 people in there anytime I get on when it says theres 200+ registered users on.

Jut wondering as I'm on now and its dead - i'm the only one there. - lol.

We should see about starting up meeting times a few times a week day and night - for each crowd

I think that would be neat. any thoughts?

I'm like you it seems to be an empty room whenever I go there.

There was a time when there were SOOOO many people on there it was impossible to get a word in. They were mostly young people and, frankly, the few times I tried to participate I couldn't keep up!
No offense to anyone, but the conversations seemed more of a competition to see who could post the most - a lot a "whatevers" and "lols" and such.
Maybe it's different now.

I was there last night and it was fun, no useless chatter, just a great conversation about broodies.

Since I'm losing my flock due to a house fire, it was nice to talk chicken with like minded individuals while I can.

I agree there can be some useless and pointless chatter and knuckle heads just like in any chatroom - lol.

But most of the times I go in at night theres a few folks and I have great conversations.
