Bye Bye Babies

Friday we put the last of 4 batches of chicks outside. They are doing fine... But I on the other hand have "empty nest syndrome" DH just handed the lamps and other brooder stuff to put away. He are dusting out the office, while I wipe everything down.

this is hard...

I'm going outside to see if one of the SS wants to come in. Maybe they miss me too

You're too cute! I'm waiting on my first hatch, and I could see myself missing them once they go out into the coop too!! How long did you keep them in the house? What kind of peeps?

Fully Each breed was a different amount of time, and depending on how big in size. My DH made a great grow out brooder, @ times I had 4 brooders going @ once. Fun times. That's ok though... I can see them out my kitchen window.
