Hi to all fellow chicken and duck lovers! My name is Caroline. I have kept chickens and ducks for about 30 years, but this is only my second time incubating Muscovy eggs (not as successful as last year). I came across this site while trouble shooting, and am impressed by the friendliness, and willingness to help of all the members who post on it.
I used to work as a veterinary nurse, and was always bringing my work home...consequently ending up with loads of various "slightly faulty" pets! I still have many animals in my life, and wouldn't be without them. Here is the list:-
1 dog (Megan), 6 cats (Billie, Kia, Justin, Annie, Gilligan and Janey), 2 goats (Fred and Ginger), 1 bearded dragon (Barker), 4 tropical frogs, 2 rats (Frankie and Benny), 2 tortoises (Hercule and Jane)
3 muscovys (Waldo, Mary and Wonky-Charlie), 2 cayugas, 3 hens, giant millipedes, stick insects
giant african snails, tropical fish and several koi. Wasn't joking...MANY animals!! I also paint and draw, and have recently published an illustrated children' story.
So, That's me...Oh yes, I also have 3 grown up sons, and 2 grandchildren!
