I am going to build a cabinet incubator with the dimensions of a Sportsman 1502, and use the Incukit XL (Incubator Warehouse) with the kit that fits the size. I'll be making trays to pull out to hand turn eggs (think dresser with drawers) framed out and hardware cloth bottoms for circulation.

I'm just looking for any random input that would be useful (maybe size/quantity/placement of vent holes, etc etc).

Thank you so much!!

I used a wine fridge several years ago to make my cabinet incubator but I didn't use a kit. I got the inkbird thermostat and a lamp kit to regulate my heat. I eventually added a fan from Amazon. I also knew I couldn't reliably remember to turn them so I sprung for the automatic egg turners (I added turners as I made chick sales so I didn't have to do a big up front cost). I love my wine fridge incubator because it's a set it and forget it situation.

In regards to vents, I only have 1 vent and it's the same place I run all my cords through: the back bottom corner.
