Which one did you get and what breeds/varieties did you recieve in your order?

I need someone to get hold of Cackle to let them know about the silkie rooster I have with genetic issues. Ingrown foot feathers and stubby wings etc.

Well they really can't do anything about it. It could have normal genetic defects like all creatures can have (even people).

Well let me get us started. I got the frypan special from cackle, ordered 25 and recieved 26. I got 7 BO, 7 RIR, 6 BPR, and 6 White Leghorn/ Austra White/ Golden Comet.

No one? Well has anyone gotten the backward barnyard special? I'm thinking of getting this next spring and want to know if it was worth it.

There are multiple threads about Cackle specials. I know I've explained in detail what I purchased and received at least 3 times. I bought the Happy Cackle Special. I received 11 Barred Rock pullets, 1 Barred rock cockerel, 2 Yokohama's, 2 white wyandottes, 2 mottled houdans, 1 phoenix, 1 sultan, 2 brown laced polish, and 2 white topped black polish. I also received 3 Narragansett turkey poults, 2 African goslings, and 2 rouen ducklings. In total 31 birds. They gave me 1 extra barred rock pullet , 2 extra rare breeds and 1 extra turkey poults. I purchased this special in February and it was delivered April 5th. All arrived alive and well. So far my flock is 4 months old and I have nothing but good things to say about Cackle. In the future if I purchase more birds for my flock I will definitely go thru them.
