cage space?

how much room do Reds and Amherst's need?
I have an aviary that is 12 x 20, so can i divide that into three different ones
and put a pair in each? so it would be roughly 7 x 12 for each one....

That size is good.Each state has requirement pen sizes for ringnecks,as they claim they are a native species(which they are not).Remember to put a barrier in between all the pens at least 3' high so the males will not be at each other all day.If no barrier is in place,it also disturbs their breeding.
