So if my 3 girls get yogurt, cheese or cottage cheese, and milk everyday do they still need oyster shell? they have been laying for 2 wks and shells are as hard as a rock!

If you put out egg shell they will only eat it if they need it. I give it free choice and 9 hens only go thru a hand full of oyster shell every week or two. Just insurance as far as i'm concerned.

yep give free choice shell anyways. You never know.
