I have a quandary. I want to have three roos: a Blue Andalusian, a BC Marans and an Ameraucana. Currently, I have 15 hens (I think). I know I need more hens to keep the roos busy. My coop is not small, and I won't be convincing the DBF to build another any time soon. It's 8' x 10', but it's also quite tall. When I look in every morning, the birds look positively dwarfed by the size of it. Most of them hang out in the rafters and I have two 10' roosts (plus some more rafters) that sit empty most of the time. The run is roughly 60' x 40'. They spend all day in the run, until they put themselves to bed. Eventually, I'd like to free range them. Until then, can I fit 30 birdies in this housing?
