She is also a great escape artist, I have found her at the neighborhood bar (parking lot) twice now, she can fly pretty well.

My California White flies like a helicopter. Before locking them all up against the risk of avian flu, I got to the point where I stopped worrying about her getting out because she could fly back in any time she wanted to.

At the bar . You may have to stop and get them a six pack occasionally .
Now we can be pretty certain she is half Leghorn . Did you ever see one climb the fence while flapping her wings ? I thought i could stop one by clipping flight wing feathers on 1 wing but no , didn't stop her .
