California White...hen?

This is a hen...right? She was labeled at TSC as a California White. I’m new to chickens but thought she looks like a hen. She’s so stinking aggressive though, and her comb is way bigger than my other hens. They’re all around ten weeks old. She “growls” at me when I come in the coop and has lunged at me several times when I’ve gotten close to her. Just wondering if she is somehow a mislabeled rooster or just an aggressive hen.

All her feathers suggest she’s a hen, maybe she’s just a really dominant hen? Although I must say she has a very red comb for 10 weeks old.

It is but that breed also gets large and red quick. Not sure on this one yet as it's a tad early for sex specific feathering

So a California White is a Leghorn crossbreed, right? Are they supposed to have more Leghorn characteristics?

Because it looks more likely to be a white Australorp cockerel looking at those legs

Not at TSC it’s not. Plus those black specks in the feathers? Definitely a California White. Hoover’s Hatchery (which is TSC’s supplier) does not carry White Australorps.
