My second breed question is these free chicks I got on "Chick Day" at the feed store. When I got them I thought California Whites - white with a few black spots. Now they are two weeks old and they are changing. They seem to have dark skin and some of the spots are becoming patches or whole feathers. Another curiosity. They are females but inquiring minds want to know - any thoughts on these??? Love'em all
