My call is about 18 weeks old and I got him as a "drake" from a poultry swap at 6 weeks. He moulted into green head plumage a month ago and has dun spots on white on his back, with a slightly curling tail --male, right? He has always quacked. He gets quackier every day. No hissing, just loud, firm "quack"s. It's not a problem, but I've been told call males don't quack loudly. He quacks constantly in the mornings & evening. He's the only duck in a flock of 30 bantam chickens. Would this make him quackier? He hates water tubs, bathing & water preening & is imprinted on a silkie duo, btw. Is his quacking a twice daily territory show, like the roosters' crowing?
