Hi all. I’m trying to figure out what keeps laying these eggs. I’m certain that it’s a duck egg but I have a couple of questions. Could these be call duck eggs? I keep finding them outside in a spot that my Pekins don’t go in so I’m assuming they would be from the calls. My second question is if the egg is fertile... I’m thinking they’re call but they seem kind of big... they measure about 2 inches long. My Pekins lay their eggs in their house every night, so I’m assuming it’s not from them. The call ducks are about 4-5 months old... I’ve found one every day or every couple of days so I’ve thought about getting a trailcam... this morning when I went to collect it, Splash, one of the male calls chased me. That led me to believe that it very well may be a call duck egg.
