I adopted my first call ducks last March. They came to me in pretty rough condition and their wings were clipped. They have since both molted and look great now, except one has these quill/feathers that grew back oddly and are hanging down. The whole wing is not dropped, it's just these odd feathers. There's also a black dried up quill (I think) and I saw these before on my other call and they eventually dropped out. My question is whether I just leave these particular feathers or do I cut them or do something else with them? I don't want their wings clipped at all, but these quills/feathers seem bothersome.
